Notes for: Mary "Patty" Kibena
In addition to the other 13 children of this family, "Davis - The Settlers of Salem, WV," p. 369, reports another daughter, Elizabeth, b. ca 1847, who on Apr 1 1875, in Doddridge County, married Isaac Batten, a son of William & Christiana. But Wes Cochran's "Doddridge County Marriages 1845-1937," p. 68, has the following entry for that marriage: "Isaac Batton, 24, b. Lewis Co, res. Doddridge Co, son of William B. & Louisa A; and Elizabeth J. Nicholson, 22, b. Madison Co VA, res. Doddridge Co, dau of Joseph & Barbary. Married Apr 1 1875." Harrison County death records, in the form of a handwritten ledger, have entries for (1) Elizabeth Batten, widowed, age 88, died Oct 6 1911; and (2) Elizabeth Batton, widowed, age 90, died Oct 6 1912. Basis for discrepancies not clear.
1860 Census, Doddridge Co, Virginia (now West Virginia), enumerated on Jul 15 1860:

The next enumerated household:

The identity of this couple is not clear. It is possibly Christopher & Patty/Mary's daughter Margaret and her husband Zachariah, with the latter's initial entered incorrectly.
