Notes for: Johnnie Ottman Townsend

Killed instantly when a train struck his car at the Main Street crossing in West Union. A passenger, Raymond Rolf Dotson, was also killed. Although his name appears as "Johnie Townsen" on his headstone, the form is "John Townsend" in his marriage record and "Johnnie Townsend" in his obituary and death record. The family name is spelled "Townsen" on his father's headstone, but "Townsend" for most references found for his children.
