Notes for: Jean Gaston Zobrist

Jean Gaston Zobrist was an independent, sophisticated and strong woman who enjoyed winning at bridge and poker games, doing crossword puzzles, and keeping company with her cat. Always stylish and proud of being a smart businesswoman, she worked as an executive legal secretary in West Virginia and Washington, DC for companies that included the West Virginia State Attorney General's Office, Jackson-Kelly law firm, and Greyhound Bus Lines. She moved to Charleston after graduating from Weston High School. In her earlier years, she liked to dance. Active in the First Presbyterian Church, she was a longtime member of the exercise group, Doc Struthers Bible Study class, and the Women of the Church.
