Notes for: Sara Nell Lowther
She volunteered with the Smoot Theatre, Actors Guild, Habitat for Humanity, Gabriel's Angel, and served meals with the Salvation Army. Sara also volunteered as a dispatcher for the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department. She participated in many medical and building mission trips to Central America. She worked as a secretary at PPG in New Martinsville and at Kaiser Aluminum in Belpre. In 1968, she opened Mason's Village Market in Little Hocking and expanded her businesses to include Dunham Square Convenience Center in Veto, Ohio, in 1985, and Peggy's Drive Thru in Malta, Ohio, in 1999.
