Notes for: Zina Adaline Prunty
She attended school in Blackwell, graduating in 1932. She also attended UPS, Tonkawa from 1932 to 1934. She received her bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University graduating in 1936, and she earned her master's degree from Central State University in 1964. She taught school in Kingfisher from 1936 to 1938, and at the one room school, District #74 known as Spring Creek 1938-1942. She worked as a bookkeeper in Kingfisher from 1942 to 1962. In 1962, she began teaching math in the Kingfisher school system. After retiring from teaching in 1980, she worked at H&R Block before becoming the city treasurer for the City of Kingfisher from 1982 until 1985.
