Notes for: Andrew Davisson

By his first wife, Caroline, Andrew had one child, Andrew (1746-1782). By his second wife, Elizabeth, he had 7 children: Emelia (1749), Mary (1752), Joseph (1754), John (1757), Hannah (twin, 1764), Sarah (twin, 1764), and Josiah (1764/68 - ca 1845).

According to the "History of Harrison County" by Henry Haymond, Andrew Davisson served on the first Grand Jury for Harrison County in Nov 1784. In 1789, he was chosen as one of the 20-man election panel that elected the first President of the United States, George Washington.
