1910 Census, Franklin Co, Ohio (city of Columbus), enumerated on Apr 12 1910 at the Ohio Penitentiary:
Listed as an inmate was Edmond N. Williams, 42, b. W.Va, laborer in bolt works, married 15 yrs.
Note: In the 1910 Census, the three children of Edmond and Frances were listed in the household of Frances' widowed father in Doddridge County. Frances herself had remarried in 1906 and was residing with her new husband in Harrison County.
1910 Census, Harrison Co, WV (Clark District), enumerated on Apr 26 1910:
Claud D. Goff, 38, house carpenter, married 5 yrs (2nd marriage); wife Stella A, 33, married 5 yrs (2nd marriage), mother of 3 children (all still living); boarder Bert Hunt, 22, single, railroad hostler; board Evert Husk, 25, single, railroad carpenter; boarder Roy Garnard, 19, single, railroad hostler.
1920 Census, Upshur Co, WV (Buckhannon District), enumerated on Jan 21 1920:
Claude D. Goff, 46, repairman for coal mining company; wife Stella A, 44.
Note: We can only speculate that Claude's wife Frances changed her name to Stella for a number of years. Claude's World War One draft registration card, on which he identified himself as Claude D. Gough, lists his next of kin as Stella Ann Gough. Her son Hillary A. Williams' World War One draft registration card lists his next of kin as "Mrs. Frances Gough (mother)," residing in Interstate, WV.
1920 Census, Allen Co, Ohio (Bath Twp), enumerated on Feb 2 1920 at Lima State Hospital:
Listed as a patient: Edmond N. Williams, 51, b. Ohio (sic), married.
1930 Census, Lewis Co, WV (Freemans Creek District), enumerated on Apr 17 1930:
Claude D. Gough, 57, foreman of stock farm; wife Frances A, 51; boarder Clad E. Adams, 26, laborer at odd jobs, married.
