Head of household Mrs. D. P. Stout, 47, married, no occupation; roomer Herbert T. Davis, 48, single, postmaster; son E. Evert Stout, 22, single, presser in cleaning shop; dau Alice Stout, 20, single, bookkeeper in general store.

(Note: Despite Sarah Stout's stated marital status as married, her husband is found in this census in Kentucky with another wife, and in the 1930 Census with a third wife. Sarah appeared in the Fairmont City Directory in the 1940s and 1950s as Sarah Stout, widow of D. Porter Stout.)

D. P. Stout, 57, truck farmer, age 50 at time of first marriage; wife Sallie Stout, 30, age 23 at first marriage; dau Edith Stanley, 11; dau Dalla Stout, 5; son Steve H. Stout, 3. All born in Kentucky except for D P, born in West Virginia. (Note: Reported ages at first marriage appear to pertain actually to their own marriage, with both having been previously married.)
