Notes for: William Davison

William was said to be Scotch-Irish, and he operated a tavern located on the main highway between Trenton, NJ and New York. He attended Baptist church. Some sources (based on an error in the much-cited "Upper Monongahela Valley, West Virginia" by Bernard L. Butcher) indicate William as the father, rather than the brother, of Elizabeth Davison, wife of Watters Smith. This is not the case.
