In November 1942, Elsie & John Snyder moved to Baltimore, MD, where John worked in the shipyards during WW II. They returned to West Virginia in March 1950, taking up residence in Clarksburg. John was employed by the Sanitary Baking Co. for 23 years, then by the Stroehman Baking Co.
