Notes for: Lalah Doris Snodgrass

Lalah Doris Barker, 74, of Harrisville, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 14, 1934 on Turtle Run in Ritchie County, the daughter of the late Joseph Ford and Lorena Chipps Snodgrass.

Lalah worked for forty years at Economy Industries in Harrisville. She loved to cross stitch, crochet and enjoyed playing golf. She was a member of Harrisville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clifford Gene Barker; daughter, Deborah Jean Snodgrass of Harrisville; three sisters, Gail Littleton of Worthington, OH, Emma Jean Keith of Harrisville, and Marion Rollins of Parkersburg; one brother, Mark Snodgrass of Hazelgreen; two grandchildren, Christopher Michael Snodgrass of Harrisville and Bradley Scott Snodgrass of Parkersburg; and three great grandchildren, Silas, Madison and Presley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Fordie Snodgrass and two sisters, Eileen Goff and Martha Dale Snodgrass.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009 at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Pastor Robert Perine officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
