At an early age he acquired the name “Tinker” and that is how he was known all his life. “Tinker” was a professional carpet installer and was employed by various local retailers, most recently by Custom Carpet of Nutter Fort for the past several years. He enjoyed his work and continued to work until his illness. “Tinker” also enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors, including, gardening, hunting and fishing. The family would like to express their gratitude to “Tinker’s” fishing buddies who in the true spirit of friendship accompanied him on fishing trips, especially “the big one” to Lake Erie in June. Their compassion during his illness boosted his spirits and gave him something to look forward to which was appreciated.
