Notes for: Lloyd W. Chapman

He was a former two-term mayor of West Union, and was prosecuting attorney of Doddridge County from 1933 to 1937. He was a school land commissioner from 1913 to 1931. At his death at age 98, he was still a practicing attorney; not long before his death, he appeared to argue a case in the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and won the case.
