Notes for: Jacob Prunty
From his obituary, "West Union Herald," Thursday, Jan 11 1917:
"Mr. Prunty was born and reared on the farm where he lived and died and was most highly respected by his neighbors, numbering his friends by the hundreds. At his request he was buried in his wedding suit, which was a Prince Albert black broad cloth.
"Mr. Prunty was a substantial farmer and stock grazier and owned a fine 400-acre farm. His wife preceeded him across Death's Mystic River last April."
