Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. He came to Wheeling in 1920 with Clyde O. Law Northwestern Insurance Agency, and he worked for the National Casket Company. At one time he was a chemist in Meadowbrook. He had been en employee of the Freedom Casket Co., Freedom, PA, since 1952.
