Notes for: Marcellus Allen Kendall
In 1897, he was elected to the office of State Treasurer. At the expiration of his term in 1901, he was appointed Commissioner of Banking for West Virginia, and in 1905 he became National Bank Examiner. He later became vice-president of the Farmers National Bank of Pittsburgh, and was twice a delegate to the General Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of Ohio Wesleyan College and was a well-known lecturer.
