Notes for: Gilbert Franz Butcher, Jr.

He was known by several nicknames, "Butch," "Butchie" or "Junior" to family and friends; "Gilbert" to coworkers at Kroger; and "Sonny" to those who rode the city bus with him between Stonewood and Clarksburg. He began working in local body shops at the age of sixteen. He worked in the body shop at Harry Green Chevrolet from about 1966 to 1971. He also worked at Rose's Furniture and Bauer Lumber in Glen Elk and was a carpenter's helper with Louie Mazza before going to work at Coca Cola about 1975. He remained at Coke until the local plant quit bottling pop about 1986. He went to work for Kroger in Dec 1990, retiring in 2004.
