Notes for: Evan F. Lowther

Minnie Kendall Lowther, in "History of Ritchie County," p. 11, states that Evan Lowther was the only child of John C. & Elizabeth Pritchard Lowther. Perhaps she intended to say "only son," because research has found that he did have several siblings, all sisters.
