This Elizabeth Pritchard is sometimes erroneously reported to be the daughter of Thomas & Nancy (Tichenell) Pritchard. That Elizabeth Pritchard (1812-1876) married John Harris and is buried with him at White Oak Cemetery in Ritchie County.

(Note: It is unclear who this Rebecca Cain (b. ca 1835) might be. Rebecca Lowther Cain (b. 1824), the first cousin once removed of Elizabeth Pritchard Lowther's husband, was enumerated in this census with her husband Edmund in Doddridge County.)
