Notes for: Frank Owen Nutter

A "Local News" item appearing on the front page of the Thursday, Apr 18 1918, issue of The West Union Record is quoted here in its entirety:
"The wells drilled by the West Virginia Gas company on the farms of F. O. Nutter and John G. Michaels near Oxford, have both come in dry, and have given a black eye to drilling in that vicinity."
