Notes for: Bradford Zinn Spiker
A 1926 graduate of Pullman High School in Ritchie County, he went on to receive a B.S. degree from Salem College and a Masters in Business Administration degree from West Virginia University. He retired from the Ritchie County school system after teaching 42 years, later serving as a substitute teacher for ten more years. He was an active member and leader of 4-H clubs in Ritchie County. In World War II, he took part in the liberation of Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge and was involved in the Allied liberation of Nazi concentration camps. In that connection, he was chosen for membership on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council in 1981.
