Worked at Hazel Glass Plant, Clarksburg, 1934-1941, and as a ship fitter for Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore during World War II. Starting in 1945, worked 32 years for Monongahela Power Co in the Engineering Section of the Clarksburg Division. Did volunteer work at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg.
