Notes for: Nathan "Junior" Leggett
Identified in his wife Sarah's obituary as Nathan J. Leggett, in his wife Frankie's obituary as Nathan Leggett, Jr., and in his mother's obituary as Nathan "Junior" Leggett. His own obituary identified him as Nathan "Junior" Goff, son of Goff N. Leggett and Mary Elizabeth Jones Leggett, and his marriage record identifies him as Nathan Junior Leggett. Following the death of his first wife Sarah Ross when their children were quite young, Nathan married her first cousin, Frankie Ross, who was the widow of his uncle, John Dewey Leggett. Many references to Nathan and Sarah's children have identified them as children of Nathan and Frankie, by whom they were raised.
