Jane Farrell Burgess, in "The Gaston Genealogy," pp. 87 & 96, provides
conflicting birth dates of 1755 and Jul 10 1757.  Bill Gaston,
http://home.mindspring.com/~bgaston2/, reports birth date as Jan 13 1761.  Age
82y 6m 2d on headstone calculates to a birth date of July 10 1855.  But William
Gaston's birth date accepted by the DAR is July 10 1757.
